PDF to PowerPoint questions

Is the result only a slide image?

No. Recognised text is rebuilt as native selectable PowerPoint text boxes in the matching slide position. Photos and non-text design remain as artwork.

Can image-only or scanned PDFs become editable?

Use a digital PDF with selectable text for editable slides. Full-page scans need OCR and reliable photograph separation; the Scanned PDF OCR tool remains available for OCR output.

Will every font match the PDF?

Not always. PowerPoint substitutes fonts that are unavailable on the computer, which can change line wrapping and spacing.
