Open the workbook and edit the converted cells. Each value stays in an ordinary cell. The rebuilt converter does not merge cells or create automatic Excel tables.
ACCURACY TIPS
Getting the best layout match
Selectable text gives the best editable layout and lets the converter retain separately embedded photos.
OCR can recognise scanned text, but separating photos from a full-page scan is not always reliable. If the page cannot be preserved, conversion shows a reason.
Verify decimal separators, negative values, currency symbols, dates and balances against the source.
For invoices needing supplier, GST and line-item fields as spreadsheet data, the Invoice to Excel workflow is more specialised.
A PDF does not contain the original Excel formulas.
The converter rebuilds visible text and numbers as real cells. Formulas that existed before the document became a PDF cannot be recovered reliably and should be checked or added in Excel.

PDF to Excel questions
Will the Excel file remain editable?
Yes. Text is stored in normal editable cells, positioned to follow the PDF. No automatic data table or Page / Content type / Editable content list is created.
Does iPDFYou automatically freeze rows or columns?
No. The generated workbook does not intentionally add automatic frozen panes.
What about scanned tables?
This converter needs a digital PDF with selectable text. Full-page scans require OCR and reliable separation of photographs; use the Scanned PDF OCR tool for OCR output.
